Register to Vote in Georgia

To register to vote in the state of Georgia, you must be:
 | A citizen of the United States |
 | A legal resident of Georgia and of the county in which you
wish to vote |
 | At least 18 years old by election day |
Also, you may not register to vote if you are currently:
 | Serving any sentence imposed by the conviction of a felony
|
 | Judicially determined to be mentally incompetent |
In the state of Georgia, you do not have to register by
political party to vote in the state's regular primaries or general elections.
If You Change Your Name or Address
You must transfer your registration whenever you move out of your precinct. You may use
the mail-in voter registration application to do this. You should transfer your
registration as soon as possible after you move.
You may register to vote at these locations, among others:
 | Board of Elections, Laurens County Courthouse |
 | at a license branch while applying for or renewing a driver's license |
 | at a public assistance office, while applying for services |
You may also obtain a mail-in registration form from a number of places, including:
 | Board of Elections, Laurens County Courthouse |
 | State Patrol Office |
 | Department of Family and Children Services |
